Standard Enrolment Commitment & Payment Procedure:

• All lessons must be pre-paid before a student is placed into our schedule

• Our school year parallels the Halton School Board’s, running from September thru June

• Our school year is divided into 4 billing periods, called ‘Sessions’ (see our School Calendar)

• Each Session must be prepaid in full, to ensure your spot is held for you for the next Session’s registration (partially paid sessions do NOT retain your spot beyond the last lesson paid)

• Joining mid-Session is welcome & payment amount is simply pro-rated

'Pay-As-You-Go' Alternative:

​

For students that require more scheduling flexibility (eg. mature students, students with special scheduling circumstances, etc.), you may prepay a minimum of 6 lessons that can be redeemed individually at any time.  'Pay-As-You-Go' scheduled appointments are firm & your timeslot is NOT held for you after each individual lesson is completed.

Cancellation Policy:
 

• You are entitled to ONE cancellation per Session enrolled. This equates to a generous FOUR legitimate cancellations per School Season

• These cancellations require at least 24 hour notice or a voice-mail (or email) archived BEFORE our store opening hours to qualify as ‘call-ahead’

• Once your entitled cancellation for the Session is used up, any further cancellations would mean forfeiting those lessons without refund or rescheduling

• Same-day shift of lesson time is possible but is not guaranteed, subject to lesson slot availability of your instructor that day

• You are permitted to send anyone else on behalf of an absent student in such a circumstance so as to not lose your investment in that time slot

• Cancellation policy is FIRM unless there are compelling special circumstances

• We reserve the right to deem the validity of such circumstances

• Traffic, common sickness, & unexpected social plans that come up do NOT qualify as special circumstances

• We hope Music Lessons are treated with the same commitment, seriousness & respect as any other extracurricular activities like Hockey or Soccer, etc.
